In ancient Egypt, cats were thought to be special animals. In fact, Egypt is the first place where people kept cats as pets! Some of the most powerful gods were associated with cats. One time, RA, the sun god, saw a giant serpent eating everything; it was even going to eat the Tree of Life. Ra turned Himself into a cat and killed the snake. Two of Ra's daughters, BAST and SEKHMET, almost always appear as cats or with feline heads. Bast (left) is identified with smaller cats; she is a playful goddess. Cats are relatives of the ancestor Felidea. Amazingly enough, the cat family divided from the other mammals at least forty million years previous, redefining felines 1 of the most previous animal ascendents. All cats partake in specific device characteristics which are unique to the feline group.
All cats are consummate meat eating mammals. Cats require a great deal of protein in their foods, just about thirty percent, and lack the digestive equipment to do well on a diet of vegetables, fruits or fruits. The fact of the matter is, if you were to design a beast to survive from preying on other mammals you'll encounter problems managing better than the theme of the cat. If you are familiar wiith cats at all, you are aware of the fact that they have muscular jaws, lengthened, sharp chompers also nails that recede into their cat paws while not in use. Cats hear extremely well. The cat eyes are conformed for vision in poorly illuminated places for hunting down just before sunup and just after dusk, the prime feeding times.
